Debbie has a deep-rooted love for learning and new challenges, which has led her to working in a variety of industries and pursuing various passions. A native Californian, she obtained her undergraduate business administration degree from the University of California, Berkeley (GO BEARS!) and obtained her master’s degree in public administration from Syracuse University (GO ORANGE!).

Analytical by nature, she first encountered the power of data in decision making while she worked in education in Washington, D.C. As she developed her skillset in data visualization, analysis and data science, she was thrilled to find InterWorks and was hired as an analytics consultant. She finds InterWorks to be the perfect place to dive into complex problems and strives to find the most value-added solutions for her clients. 

In her spare time, Debbie relentlessly pursues new experiences. She doesn’t eat to live; she lives to eat! In the winter, you can smell the aroma of spices and broth coming from her apartment as she makes a batch of chicken soup for Vietnamese pho. In the summer, you can find her filling her shopping bags at a D.C. farmers' market with seasonal produce.

With friends and family across the US and the globe, she loves traveling to see them and planning trips to new places. Having completed a few half-marathons and triathlons, she is no stranger to being active outdoors and enjoys any opportunity to do stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkeling.
